Lightwater

Lightwater has its own Country Park with over 100 acres of heathland together with a Leisure Centre and Visitors Centre. The village is within easy reach of many places of interest. Eight miles to the north is Windsor Castle,  the River Thames and Windsor Great Park. Slightly closer is Ascot Racecourse and scenic Virginia Water with its beautiful valley gardens. The town of Guildford is the heart of Surrey and is 9 miles to the south and boasts a Cathedral and Castle ruins.

Camberley and Bracknell are our nearest shopping districts. Camberley has good sports facilities, tennis courts as well as a brand new Leisure Centre with swimming pool and climbing facilities. Bracknell is located in the Bracknell Forest area of Berkshire where the rivers Blackwater and Cut run through and support a large amount of wildlife. The town is surrounded by Swinley Forest and Crowthorne Woods on the east and south.

Public transport links to London are available from nearby Bagshot or Sunningdale Stations with direct links to London, Waterloo. London Heathrow Airport is 20 miles via the M3 and M25 motorways whilst London Gatwick Airport is 45 miles to the south-east. The village is a quarter mile from the M3 motorway, providing easy access to the south coast of England, the New Forest and the port of Southampton.
